| ABATE of Florida, Inc. is a state-wide, non-profit organization of motorcycle enthusiasts from all walks of life. Our members are carpenters, electricians, students, doctors, lawyers, auto mechanics, retirees, teachers, businessmen and women. We promote motorcycle safety, training, and political awareness. We are not a club or a gang. We fund our work through membership, toy runs, poker runs, rides, camp out's and other motorcycle related activities. Hillsborough County Chapter's major fund raising event is Spooks 'n Scoots and it uses these funds to help the state organization as well as other safety, educational and charitable purposes in it's geographical area. In the area of education ABATE of Florida, Inc. recently copyrighted a Motorcycle Safety and Awareness Program. The program is designed to be presented in schools and other public forums to better educate students and the general public concerning motorcycle safety. We are your neighbors and friends who work, pay taxes, pay a mortgage and get involved with our community. We serve our Country and believe in freedom. |

To print a newsletter to keep all members informed in regards to events concerning motorcycle safety, legislation affecting motorcyclists as well as any other motorcycle news around our state and throughout our country. |

To promote voter registration and educate and motivate members to become active in the legislative process. |

To promote safe motorcycle riding habits without infringing on individual rights. |

To educate the public about motorcycle awareness and promote safe driving habits while sharing the roads with motorcyclists. |
